Who is SWOT Solutions and where are you based?
SWOT Solutions is a digital agency based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu, India. We've been building web products, mobile apps and digital marketing campaigns since 2020. Our team of designers, developers and SEO strategists works with clients across India and internationally. We serve everyone from funded startups to established SMEs and individual founders.

Do you work with clients outside Tamil Nadu or outside India?
Yes β€” about 40% of our clients are from outside Tamil Nadu and roughly 15% are international. Our entire process works remotely with no drop in quality. Discovery calls via Google Meet, design reviews in Figma, code on GitHub, updates via email and WhatsApp. If you prefer in-person meetings, we're happy to visit clients within Tamil Nadu.

How much does a website cost?
It genuinely depends on what you need. A rough guide:

Do you charge per hour or per project?
We work on a fixed project fee for defined-scope work. This means you know the exact cost before work begins β€” no surprise invoices. For ongoing work (maintenance, retainers, continued development), we charge a fixed monthly retainer or a day rate. We do not do open-ended hourly billing for project work.
What are your payment terms?
Standard terms are 50% advance to begin work, 50% on delivery. For larger projects (above β‚Ή1 lakh), we use a milestone-based schedule (40% / 30% / 30%). We accept NEFT, UPI, and international wire transfers. Invoices include GST and are issued through our registered business.
Can I get a quote without a call?
For simple projects, yes β€” fill in our contact form with as much detail as possible (pages needed, features, references) and we'll send a ballpark estimate by email. For anything complex or if you want an accurate fixed quote, a 30-minute call is the fastest way β€” it eliminates 10 back-and-forth emails and usually takes less total time.
Do you offer payment plans or installments?
Yes, for larger projects we're happy to structure milestone-based payments that align with your cash flow. For ongoing retainer work, monthly billing is standard. We don't offer financing but we'll always try to find a payment structure that works for both parties. Just ask when we're discussing the project.

How does a typical project start?
It starts with a free 30-minute discovery call. We discuss your goals, requirements, timeline and budget. After the call, we send a written project proposal within 24 hours covering scope, deliverables, timeline and fixed price. How long does a project take?
Typical timelines:
  • 5–8 page website: 3–4 weeks
  • E-commerce store: 6–10 weeks
  • Web application / SaaS: 8–20 weeks depending on complexity
  • Mobile app (iOS + Android): 10–16 weeks
  • SEO campaign: First results visible in 60–90 days; significant results by month 4–6
Timelines include design, development, revisions and testing. Client content delays are the most common cause of timeline extension β€” having content ready speeds things up significantly.
How many revisions are included?
Every project includes two rounds of revisions at the design stage and one round at the development stage. A "round" means we make all the changes you request, then you review again. In practice, we rarely need both revision rounds because our discovery process is thorough. If you want changes beyond the included rounds, we charge a small additional fee per round.
What do you need from me as a client?
The key inputs we typically need from you:

We understand you have a business to run. We design our review process to be low-friction β€” short Loom videos instead of calls, Figma comments instead of documents.
Can I make changes after the project is agreed?
Minor tweaks within the agreed scope are absorbed at no extra charge. Significant additions β€” new features, extra pages, major redesigns β€” are quoted as a change order before work begins. We've never had a client feel surprised by change order charges because we define scope very clearly upfront and explain what's inside vs outside before we start.

What technology do you use to build websites?
We choose the best technology for each project:
  • Marketing sites: Custom HTML/CSS/JS or WordPress + WooCommerce
  • Web applications / SaaS: Laravel (PHP) or Next.js (React) with Node.js or Python backends
  • E-commerce: WooCommerce, Shopify, or fully custom Laravel builds
  • Mobile apps: React Native or Flutter
We don't have a preferred vendor β€” we pick what's genuinely right for your specific needs and long-term maintenance requirements.
Will I be able to update the website myself after launch?
Yes β€” we build all client sites with a CMS that lets non-technical users update content without touching code. For WordPress/WooCommerce sites, you'll be editing in the standard WordPress dashboard. For custom builds, we either integrate a headless CMS (like Contentful or Sanity) or build a simple custom admin panel. We include a handover session to walk you through everything.
Do I own the website code after the project?
Yes β€” you own all custom code, design files and content created for your project once final payment is received. We hand over the complete repository, Figma source files and all credentials. We have zero vendor lock-in. You should be able to take your deliverables to any other developer to continue work if needed.
Do you handle hosting and domain registration?
We don't host sites ourselves (we don't want your site's uptime to depend on our server bills). We strongly recommend and configure the right hosting for each project β€” typically Cloudways, DigitalOcean, or AWS. We handle the full server setup, performance optimisation and SSL configuration as part of every project. Annual hosting costs are paid directly by you to the hosting provider, typically β‚Ή5,000–₹25,000/year.

Can you guarantee first-page Google rankings?
No β€” and any SEO agency that guarantees specific rankings is misleading you. Google controls its own algorithm. What we can do is apply proven, white-hat SEO practices that consistently improve rankings for clients across hundreds of engagements. We set realistic expectations upfront and track progress with transparent monthly reporting.

How long does SEO take to show results?
Technical fixes and on-page changes show improvements in Google Search Console within 4–8 weeks. Meaningful traffic growth typically begins at month 3–4, with strong results by month 6. SEO is a compounding investment β€” the sites that commit for 6–12 months see the most dramatic results and don't lose rankings when they stop (unlike paid ads which stop the moment you pause).
Do I need SEO if I'm already running Google Ads?
They serve different purposes. Google Ads gets you traffic today but stops the moment your budget runs out. SEO builds organic visibility that continues working even when you stop investing. Do you build for iOS and Android separately?
We build cross-platform using React Native or Flutter, which means a single codebase runs on both iOS and Android. This is cost-effective and practical for most apps. For apps requiring very specific native performance or hardware access (complex AR, high-performance games), native development may be recommended β€” we'll discuss this honestly if it applies to your project.
Will you help publish the app to the App Store and Play Store?
Yes β€” App Store and Google Play submission support is included in our mobile projects. We handle the build signing, metadata, screenshots, descriptions and submission. You'll need Apple Developer and Google Play developer accounts (β‚Ή7,500/year and $25 one-time respectively). First-time submissions typically take 2–5 days for Play Store approval and 1–3 days for App Store review.
Do you build the backend / API for mobile apps too?
Yes β€” we build the complete product: mobile app + backend API + database + admin panel. We prefer end-to-end ownership because it eliminates integration issues and reduces communication overhead. If you already have a backend, we're equally happy to build the mobile app against your existing API.

After that, we offer monthly maintenance retainers covering security updates, plugin updates, uptime monitoring, performance checks and a set number of content update hours per month. What if something breaks after the project is delivered?
In the 30 days after launch, any bugs or issues caused by our work are fixed at no charge β€” same business day for critical issues. After 30 days, bug fixes from our work are still treated as our responsibility and addressed promptly. Issues caused by third-party plugin updates, hosting configuration changes or client-side edits fall under standard maintenance work.
Can you take over a website built by someone else?
Yes β€” we regularly take over and maintain existing websites, WordPress sites and web applications. We'll do a brief technical audit first to understand what we're working with, then give you a clear picture of the site's health and what (if anything) needs addressing.
